Cellphone Repair Skills Programme -Limpopo

This training is done by the Vaal University of Technology E–skills CoLab in collaboration with NEMISA, DSD Limpopo, NYDA and HCLS . After completing the training , you will operate as a Cellphone Repairer ,with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain different types of Cellphones and mobile devices.

Requirements :
- Grade 12 with Pure Maths 40% or Maths Literacy 50%
- Deemed Competent in the Pre-Assessment
- Valid South African ID (Certified)

Who Can Apply for this opportunity :
- Applicant must be based in Gauteng.
- Applicant must be unemployed
- Applicant must be 18-34 years old
- Applicant must have Matric
- People with Disabilities are strongly encouraged
- Must be fully committed for 12 months.
- N.B Preference will be given to applicants that submit a Host Company to confirm workplace placement for 9-month practical component.
PSiRA 2026 External Study Programme
- Closing Date : 31 December 2025
REQUIREMENTS :
- The applicant must be employed in the private security sector or have legal parent who is registered with PSiRA as a security officer
- Both the learner and the parent must be South African citizens
- Learners must be between 19and 35 years old.
- Learners must have completed Grade 12 and be enrolled at an accredited institution for the 2026 academic year.
- Applications are open to candidates from all provinces in South Africa.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Fully completed application form
- Certified copies of the ID of the legal parent and learner. (Certified withing the last three months).
- Proof that the learner is enrolled at a registered institution for the 2026 year.
- The PSiRA registration number of the applicant’s parent or guardian must be referenced in the application.
- Affidavit confirming legal guardian, if applicable.
- Abridged birth certificate of the learner, as evidence of legal parentage.

- Maximum Financial Amount
- Exclusions: PSiRA will not fund postgraduate studies.
- Duration: The financial aid will cover the tuition fees for the 2026 financial year only for 12-month full-time period.
- Previously Funded Learners: Applicants who have received funding in the past must submit their academic results, and a statement reflecting the outstanding amount for the new year
